Biography
CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
- Signed with the Detroit Lions in 2024 after playing with the Minnesota Vikings for one season (2023) and the New Orleans Saints for five seasons (2018-22).
- Appeared in 67-career games (35 starts) and has totaled 149 tackles (81 solo), 64 quarterback hits, 27 tackles for loss, 23.5 sacks, seven forced fumbles, four pass defenses, and one fumble recovery.
- In his first five seasons, he posted 21.5 sacks and eight forced fumbles, despite missing 17 contests due to injury.
- Among all NFL edge rushers with at least 125 pass rushes in 2021, he tied for the fourth-highest win percentage (18.3%), per PFF.
- Among all NFL edge rushers with at least 125 pass rushes in 2021, he tied for the 10th-highest pressure percentage (9.1%), per PFF.
- Produced four solo tackles, 2.0 sacks, two forced fumbles, and one tackle for loss vs. Atlanta (11/28/19).
COLLEGE
- Played four seasons at Texas at San Antonio (2014-17), where he recorded 186 tackles (100 solo), 37 tackles for loss, 21.5 sacks, eight pass defenses, six forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries, with one being returned for a touchdown. He is the UTSA program all-time leader in tackles for loss, sacks, and quarterback hurries (21).

PERSONAL
- Earned First-Team All-District 27-5A honors at John Paul Stevens High School (San Antonio, Texas) in 2013.
