TWENTYMAN: 4 pro days to watch this week

4. Kentucky, Mon., March 11

Who to watch: Something tells me cornerback Maxwell Hairston will stand on his blazing 40-yard dash time at the Combine (4.28), but drill work and conversations with some teams could be another step in solidifying himself as a first-round pick. The West Bloomfield native had one of the better Combine performances in Indianapolis last week.

3. Oklahoma, Mon., March 11

Who to watch: The only thing keeping safety Billy Bowman Jr. from being a higher-graded prospect in this NFL Draft is his lack of ideal size (5-10, 192) for the position. The instincts (11 career INTs with three TDs) and athleticism (4.42 in the 40 and 10-foot-3-inch broad jump at Combine) is certainly there. Teams are looking for roving safeties who can generate game-changing takeaways. Can Bowman continue to show off those great ball skills in drills and continue to improve his stock?

Also keep an eye on: LB Danny Stutsman and Edge Ethan Downs

2. Tennessee, Mon., March 11

Who to watch: Running back Dylan Sampson had a terrific year in his lone season as the starter in the Vols' backfield. He's got great instincts and patience, rushing for 1,491 yards (5.8 average) with 22 rushing touchdowns and adding 20 receptions for another 143 yards this past season. He was smooth in on-field drills and he looks explosive, but he didn't run the 40-yard dash in Indy. That's one thing scouts will want to mark off his evaluation sheet before the draft.

Also keep an eye on: Edge James Pearce Jr., WR Dont'e Thornton Jr., WR Bru McCoy, DT Elijah Simmons, DT Omarr Norman-Lott

1. Georgia, Tues., March 12

Who to watch: Linebacker Jalon Walker said at the Combine last week his best asset is he's a chess piece for a defense.

"I feel like playing multiple positions being an inside backer, outside backer and sometimes playing that nickel star SAM increases my value and the team's value. You never know where I'll be at in the game plan," he said.

Walker didn't test at the Combine and was supposed to do everything at Georgia's Pro Day, but he's reportedly suffered a quad injury in training and will now work out separately for teams on April 17.

Edge rusher Mykel Williams could be the first Georgia player off the board and is expected to do all his testing and on-field work at Georgia's pro day after opting out of testing at the Combine.

Also keep an eye on: S Malaki Starks, LB Smael Mondon Jr., G Tate Ratledge, WR Dominic Lovett, DT Warren Brinson, RB Trevor Etienne, DT Nazir Stackhouse, G Dylan Fairchild, G Xavier Truss, C Jared Wilson, WR Arian Smith
