Ademi Smith enters his fifth season with the Lions, and first as BLESTO scout, in 2024. He originally joined the organization as a scouting assistant in 2020, spent one season as a personnel assistant, then served as Scout, Auxiliary from 2022-23.

Ademi Smith enters his fifth season with the Lions, and first as BLESTO scout, in 2024. He originally joined the organization as a scouting assistant in 2020, spent one season as a personnel assistant, then served as Scout, Auxiliary from 2022-23.

In 2023, he helped the personnel staff assemble a Lions roster that won its first division title since 1993 and advance to their second-ever NFC Championship Game.

Prior to joining Detroit, Smith served as a student video assistant at the University of Central Florida for three seasons (2017-20). In that span, he also completed scouting internships with the Lions at the 2020 NFL Combine, 2020 East-West Shrine Bowl and 2019 Training Camp.

Smith earned a bachelor's degree in interdisciplinary studies and a minor in sports business management from UCF and is a native of Tampa, Fla.
