Lions WR Danny Amendola was signed as an undrafted free agent in 2008 by the Cowboys and was a member of the practice squad that season.

Lions CB Michael Jackson was a fifth-round pick (158th overall) by the Cowboys in the 2019 NFL Draft and spent the 2019 season on the practice squad before being signed to the Lions' active roster.

Lions Defensive Coordinator Paul Pasqualoni was the tight ends coach for the Cowboys in 2005, the linebackers coach from 2006-07 and the defensive coordinator in 2010.

Lions Defensive Backs Coach Brian Stewart (left) was the defensive coordinator of the Cowboys from 2007-08.

Cowboys DE Kerry Hyder (61) played for the Lions from 2015-18, appearing in 32 games and totaling 42 tackles (28 solo) and 8.0 sacks.

Cowboys Quarterbacks Coach Jon Kitna (8) played three seasons for the Lions from 2006-08 and totaled 9,034 passing yards and 44 passing touchdowns.

Cowboys Defensive Coordinator Rod Marinelli was the head coach of the Lions from 2006-08.

Cowboys Offensive Coordinator Kellen Moore (17) played for the Lions from 2012-14 as a backup quarterback.

Cowboys Assistant Wide Receivers Coach Kyle Valero was an offensive quality control coach for the Lions from 2010- 12 and the assistant wide receivers coach from 2012-13.

Lions QB Matthew Stafford (9) grew up in Highland Park, Texas and was a Cowboys fan when he was younger.

Lions FB Nick Bawden (46) and Cowboys CB Chidobe Awuzie (24) played against one another in California high school football in 2012. Awuzie's Oak Grove High School defeated Bawden and Los Gatos High School 24-21 as Bawden threw for two touchdowns and Awuzie caught two touchdown passes.

Cowboys S Jeff Heath is from Lake Orion, Mich. and attended Lake Orion High School. Heath went on to play at Saginaw Valley State from 2009-12.

Cowboys CB Jourdan Lewis grew up in Detroit and played high school football at Cass Technical prior to attending Michigan from 2013-16.

Lions C/G Graham Glasgow (right) played against Cowboys LB Justin March (left) in the Illinois High School Class 6A State Semifinal matchup in 2010. Glasgow's Marmion Academy defeated March's No. 1 seeded Danville High School 31-28.

Cowboys QB Cooper Rush (right) is from Charlotte, Mich., played high school football at Lansing Catholic and attended Central Michigan from 2012-16. Lions Special Teams Coordinator John Bonamego (left) served as Rush's head coach at Central Michigan from 2015-16.

Lions T Taylor Decker (left), Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott (middle) and WR Devin Smith (right) played together at Ohio State from 2013-14. In 2014, the team went 14-1 and won the College Football Playoff Championship. In 2015, both Elliott and Decker were named AP All-Americans.

Lions T Rick Wagner (left) and Cowboys C Travis Frederick (right) played on the Wisconsin offensive line together from 2009-12. The two blocked for RB Montee Ball in his four years for the Badgers in which he accumulated the second-most rushing yards in school history (5,140) and the most rushing touchdowns (77).

Lions DE Romeo Okwara (right), Cowboys G Zack Martin (top left) and LB Jaylon Smith (bottom left) were teammates at Notre Dame together in 2013. Okwara and Smith played together from 2013-15. In 2015, Okwara led the Fighting Irish defense in sacks (9.0) and Smith led the team in total tackles (115).

Lions CB Darius Slay (right) and Cowboys QB Dak Prescott (left) were teammates at Mississippi State from 2011-12. After redshirting in 2011, Prescott contributed the second most-rushing touchdowns on the team (4) in 2012, while Slay totaled a team-high five interceptions.

Lions LB Devon Kennard (top left), Cowboys T Tyron Smith (right) and DT Antwaun Woods (bottom left) played with one another at Southern California in 2011.

Lions DL Da'Shawn Hand (bottom left) was also a member of the 2014 team. Cowboys Tight Ends Coach Doug Nussmeier (right) was the offensive coordinator for the Crimson Tide from 2012-13.

Lions Wide Receivers Coach Robert Prince (left) was Boise State's offensive coordinator in 2011 when Cowboys Offensive Coordinator Kellen Moore (right) was named the Mountain West Conference Player of the Year and finished eighth in the Heisman voting.
