Lions LB Jarrad Davis (bottom left), QB Jeff Driskel (top left) and Bears TE Trey Burton (right) were teammates at Florida from 2011-13. In 2012 the team peaked at No.3 in the AP Poll and finished 11-2. Davis also played with Bears K Eddy Pineiro (middle left) in 2016 for the Gators.

Lions DT A'Shawn Robinson (bottom left), Bears DB Ha Ha Clinton-Dix (top left) and FS Eddie Jackson (middle) all played at Alabama together from 2012-13 and were part of the 2013 BCS National Championship winning team. Jackson also played with Lions DL Da'Shawn Hand (right) for the Crimson Tide from 2014- 16.

Lions TE Logan Thomas (left) played with Bears CB Kyle Fuller (right) at Virginia Tech from 2010-13. In 2011, Thomas was the starting quarterback and led the team to an 11-3 record while Fuller tallied the most tackles for loss on the team (14.5).

Atkins also played with Bears WR Riley Ridley (top left) and LB Roquan Smith (bottom right) for the Bulldogs in 2016- 17, and appeared in the 2018 College Football Playoff Championship game. Lions TE T.J. Hockenson (left) and Bears C James Daniels (right) were members of the Iowa program from 2016-17.

Lions RB Ty Johnson (left) and Bears LB Josh Woods (right) played with each other at Maryland from 2015-17. In 2017 Johnson led the team in rushing (875 yards) and Woods finished tied-for-third on the team in solo tackles (45).

Lions Linebackers Coach Al Golden (left) was the head coach at Miami when Bears SS Deon Bush (top right) (2012-15) and P Pat O'Donnell (bottom right) (2013) played for the Hurricanes. Bears Safeties Coach Sean Desai (not pictured) was the assistant director of football operations under Golden in 2011.

Lions OL Tyrell Crosby (left) played under Bears Offensive Coordinator Mark Helfrich (right) from 2014-16 when he was the head coach at Oregon. In 2014, the team made it to the College Football Championship, but fell to Ohio State.
