WEEK IN REVIEW: Offseason dates announced

Lions players will be back in the building Monday for the start of the offseason training program.

The NFL announced the offseason dates for each team this past Monday, and the Lions kick things off April 9th with phase one of the training program.

Because the Lions have a new coaching staff for 2018, they are able to hold an extra voluntary minicamp in addition to the regular mandatory minicamp and OTAs.

Here is the full list of Lions offseason training dates:

First Day: April 9

OTA Offseason Workouts: May 21-22, May 24, May 30-31, June 11-12, June 14

Voluntary Minicamp: April 24-26

Mandatory Minicamp: June 5-7
