The Detroit Lions haven't had two 1,000-yard wide receivers in the same season since Marvin Jones Jr. (1,101) and Golden Tate (1,003) accomplished the feat in 2017.
Amon-Ra St. Brown has already secured his third straight 1,000-yard receiving season (1,126) with two games remaining and can be joined in the 1,000-yard club by Jameson Williams, who needs 110 receiving yards in Detroit's last two contests to hit the mark.
"I'm aware of it," Williams said Thursday. "I ain't trying to force it though. We still got two games ahead of us. That's the main priority getting a team win. If it comes it comes but it is on my mind, of course."
Williams said his goal coming into the year was to get 1,000 receiving yards at a minimum because that's a receiving landmark and he's happy he's in a position to hit the mark despite missing two games due to suspension.
"I missed two games," he said. "I think I had a game or two with one catch. I had a game with negative-four yards. But that stuff really don't matter. You just have to go out there the next game and try to make that up.
"Those two games set me back a little bit but the team still got the W both those weeks without me and that's really the main thing. I know people have individual goals but like this far into the season I feel like people need to put those to the side. It's time to go win and it's real now. The yardage is something I really haven't been worried about ... but I'm still in that range and hopefully I can get it, though."
Williams has 47 receptions for 890 yards with an 18.9-yard average per catch that is fourth best in the NFL. He's also chipped in six touchdowns.
He is coming off his best game of the season last week in Chicago where he had a career-high 143 receiving yards and a touchdown. Williams had two touchdowns against the 49ers in the NFC Championship Game last season.
"He's provided an element to our offense that we hadn't really had previously," quarterback Jared Goff said of Williams. "Last year, we had him, but we missed him for part of that.
"It's nice, it's really good what he's done and being able to get better every week and improve and like you said, his maturity has grown, and he pushes himself really hard, he really does, and he holds himself to a high standard and he wants to get better, and he wants to improve. He's constantly communicating with me, it's a lot of fun to work with him and when he makes plays like that, you see all the work pay off and he'll just continue to get better."
GREEN BAY FANS
The Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers played two grind-it-out, physical football games this season with the Lions coming out on top both times.
The Packers just might be Detroit's most hated rival given the long history between the two teams, but Lions players aren't afraid to admit they'll be Green Bay fans come Sunday afternoon at 4:25 p.m.
The Lions can clinch their second straight NFC North title and the No. 1 seed in the NFC playoffs with a win over the San Francisco 49ers on Monday Night Football, but only if the Packers beat the Vikings in Minnesota on Sunday first.
"I want them to win," St. Brown said of the Packers. "I think we all do, so it'll be – they're both in the division so it'll be easy to root for the Packers."
If Minnesota beats Green Bay Sunday, then the Week 18 matchup between the Vikings and Lions in Detroit will be for the NFC North title (and the No. 1 seed for Detroit) no matter what happens in the Lions-49ers game Monday night. The loser of that Week 18 matchup will drop to at best the No. 5 seed and begin the playoffs on the road.
"Whatever happens in that game doesn't dictate much for us, we want to win this one," Goff said. "We know the scenario, but we certainly don't want to overlook anything or try to hope something happens. Whatever happens, happens, so we'll see."

SANTA GOFF
It's tradition around the NFL for quarterbacks to get their offensive linemen Christmas gifts as they are tasked with keeping them upright and healthy on a weekly basis.
What did Goff get the linemen this year?
"See, it's hard when you have guys giving out Toyota trucks to try to keep up with that," Goff joked about 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy gifting his offensive linemen Toyota Tundras. "But I got them a nice Yeti package with a ton of wagyu and steaks and beef and a bunch of stuff. I hope they like it."
Right guard Kevin Zeitler was a huge fan, saying it was the perfect gift for him.
ROAD WARRIORS
The Lions are 7-0 on the road this season and with a win at San Francisco on Monday Night Football can become the sixth team since 2000 to go undefeated on the road in a season, joining the 2020 Kansas City Chiefs, 2016 and 2007 New England Patriots, 2014 Dallas Cowboys and 2001 St. Louis Rams.
"Just play," Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn said of Detroit's secret sauce on the road this year. "We're at home, we're on the road, we can run the ball, we can throw the ball, we can play defense, that's how we win."
