Lions trade TE Michael Roberts to New England Patriots

Allen Park, Mich. – The Detroit Lions announced today that they have traded TE Michael Roberts to the New England Patriots in exchange for a future, undisclosed draft pick.

After joining the Lions as a fourth-round draft selection out of the University of Toledo in 2017, Roberts appeared in 23 games for Detroit. He totaled 13 receptions for 146 yards and three touchdowns.
