Allen Park, Mich. – The Detroit Lions announced today that they have signed free agent CB Jamar Summers and released CB Marcus Cooper Sr. Additional contract terms were not disclosed.
Summers joins Detroit after spending the 2019 offseason program with the Miami Dolphins. The New Jersey native was a member of the AAF's Birmingham Iron in 2018, after spending the 2018 preseason with Pittsburgh Steelers. He originally entered the NFL with the Steelers in 2018 as an undrafted rookie free agent out of UConn.
