Allen Park, Mich. – The Detroit Lions announced today that they have signed DE Eric Lee to the active roster from the practice squad. In addition, the Lions have waived OL Andrew Donnal.
Lee began the season on Detroit's practice squad after most recently spending time on the New England Patriots' active roster in 2017, appearing in six games (five starts) with 19 tackles, 3.5 sacks and one interception. He also appeared in three postseason contests (one start) and logged four tackles for the Patriots.
Originally entering the NFL with the Houston Texans in 2016 as an undrafted free agent out of South Florida, Lee has also spent time on the Buffalo Bills' active roster and practice squad (2017), as well as the Texans' practice squad (2016).
