Allen Park, Mich.— The Detroit Lions announced today that they have re-signed LS Don Muhlbach. Additional contract terms were not disclosed.
Muhlbach returns to Detroit entering his 17th NFL season, all with the Lions. By appearing in every game in 2019, he moved his career games total to 244 – which ranks second all-time in franchise history and 56th (tied) in NFL history. The long snapper became the first player in franchise history to play in all 160 games in a given decade, and his 16 seasons played with the Lions also rank second in team history.
Muhlbach originally entered the NFL in 2004 as an undrafted free agent with the Baltimore Ravens.
