Allen Park, Mich. – The Detroit Lions announced today that they have placed DE Ezekiel Ansah (shoulder) and TE Michael Roberts (shoulder) on Reserve-Injured. In addition, the club announced that they have signed TE Jerome Cunningham and OL Leo Koloamatangi from the practice squad to the active roster.
After beginning the 2018 season on the Tennessee Titans' practice squad, Cunningham was signed by Detroit to the practice squad during Week 4 of this season. Currently in his second NFL season, he has appeared in 10 games (three starts) and recorded eight receptions and 59 receiving yards. Cunningham originally entered the NFL in 2014 with the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent out of Southern Connecticut State.
Koloamatangi joins the active roster after stints on the Lions practice squad during the 2017 and 2018 seasons. He originally entered the NFL with the Lions in 2017 as an undrafted free agent out of Hawaii.
