The 90th NFL Draft begins on Thursday, April 24, live from Green Bay, Wisconsin, just one year after Detroit hosted the event in 2024. DetroitLions.com will have complete coverage throughout the entire weekend on all things related to the seven picks the Lions currently own.
Here is everything Lions fans need to know about the 2025 NFL Draft:
When
- Round 1: Thursday, April 24 at 8 p.m. EDT
- Rounds 2-3: Friday, April 25 at 7 p.m. EDT
- Rounds 4-7: Saturday, April 26 at 12 p.m. EDT
TV/Radio Coverage
All three days of the 2025 NFL Draft will be televised by the following networks:

The 2025 NFL Draft can be heard nationally on Westwood One, SiriusXM NFL Radio and ESPN Radio. It can also be streamed on NFL+ as well as the ABC and ESPN apps.

General Manager Brad Holmes is expected to meet with the media at the end of each day of the draft. Holmes also spoke with reporters in his pre-draft press conference last Thursday.
