We are looking for technically trained dancers who are interested in being community ambassadors for the Detroit Lions organization. Established in 2016, the Detroit Lions Cheerleaders perform at Ford Field in front of over 65,000 Detroit Lions fans, as well as represent the organization at various community events.

Master Classes provide audition candidates an opportunity to train in a small group setting, and the classes are designed for the dancer to focus on refreshing and mastering basic skills for success as a professional dancer. These are dance classes only, and audition choreography is not taught during these sessions.
Master Classes are offered in a variety of styles including jazz, pom, leaps & turns, sidelines, and hip hop and are taught at an intermediate-advanced level. These classes are instructed by industry professionals, Detroit Lions Cheerleaders alumni and staff, and current DLC captains. All classes will include a warm-up, applicable technique, and dance combinations taught at a rapid speed to mimic the fast-paced nature of DLC rehearsals.
DATES AND TIMES
Space is limited in each class and registration will be closed either the day before each session or once classes reaches capacity - whichever occurs first.

REGISTRATIONS AND COST
Classes are $15 each, advanced payment is required. Refunds are not available. Walk ups not permitted. Classes are open to individuals 18 and older.
Please bring your confirmation email and check-in with a DLC representative prior to entering the studio. Dancers will be required to fill out a waiver prior to participation in class. Waivers will be provided at check-in.
LOCATION
Bloomfield Hills, MI (exact studio address provided in confirmation email). Classes are closed to the public and only registered participants may attend.
ATTIRE/SHOES
Fitted dance attire/applicable shoes are recommended for all sessions and styles. Athletic shoes are recommended for Pom, Hip Hop, Sidelines, and Conditioning for Dancers. Jazz shoes, or athletic shoes, are recommended for Jazz and Leaps & Turns.
Attendance at Master Classes is NOT required to be considered at the audition. The audition choreography is not taught during Master Class training opportunities. Attendance in the classes does not guarantee that candidates will make the team.
The Audition Prep Clinic is meant to mimic the format of the actual audition process to give participants an understanding of the Detroit Lions Cheerleaders audition process.
Participants will be taught technique combos, jazz routine choreography, and sideline choreography to get a feel for the DLC style and skill level.

ATTIRE/SHOES
Recommended attire is an athletic sports top, fitted dance shorts, tights (optional), dance shoes Clinic will take place on the field - Detroit Lions Cheerleaders wear flexible tennis shoes on the turf.
